Melodiorama privacy policy

Melodiorama is an app by RHCL Holding b.v. ("we"). This policy covers the app on the iPad.

In short: we collect no data. The app has no account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics and no third-party software. There is no server of ours that the app talks to.

What stays on your iPad

• The island (the notes played and the island's starting point), the recordings, the MIDI files you add, the photos in "My photos" and the settings are kept only on the iPad, in the app's own storage.
• We cannot reach them. No one but the person using the iPad can.
• If you back up the iPad (iCloud Backup or a computer), the backup may include this data. You control that in the iPad's settings.
• If you delete the app, this data is removed from the iPad.

Photos

• A photo goes into the Photos app only when you choose to ("Save to Photos"). The iPad asks for your permission first.
• The app may then only add photos. It cannot see your other photos.
• Where a photo goes after that, for example to iCloud Photos, depends on your own Photos settings.

Files

• When you add a MIDI file, the app reads only the file you choose, and keeps a copy on the iPad.

Keyboard and Bluetooth

• The app uses USB or Bluetooth only to connect a music keyboard. No data leaves the iPad.

Purchases

• There is nothing to buy in this version of the app.

Apple's statistics and crash reports

• If you chose in the iPad's settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple gives us anonymous crash reports and totals. Apple collects these, not us, and we cannot link them to you.

Children

• The app is for young and old. Because we collect data from no one, children included, no parental consent for data processing is needed.
• Settings sit behind a parent gate.

Your rights

• Because we hold no personal data about you, we cannot view, change or delete any. You erase all of the app's data by deleting the app.
• For a question or a complaint, contact us (see below). You may also complain to your data protection authority; in the Netherlands, that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes

• If this policy changes, we put the new version on our website with a new date, and mention it in the App Store's "What's New".
