Melodiorama is made for your MIDI keyboard or digital piano, connected to the iPad with a USB cable. No keyboard nearby? Then play on the keys on the screen.
WITH YOUR KEYBOARD
- Play softly and flowers come up, play hard and stone is laid down, and a chord grows something special
- Every keyboard reaches the whole island, even a small one with 25 keys: the app asks once for your lowest and your highest key
- Hear your own keyboard, or let the app play along on a marimba
Melodiorama is a calm 3D world. A little village finds its own paths, and Vos the fox wanders about. There is no score, no clock and no hurry. Nothing can go wrong and nothing gets broken. What you play is what you hear, and the island answers.
Some things appear only now and then: a windmill, a rabbit, an otter or a hot-air balloon, and once in a long while a castle or a rainbow. Keep playing and see what comes.
What you can do
- Watch the day slowly turn to night, or pick the hour yourself
- Walk along with Vos across the island
- Take photos of your island and save them to the Photos app
- Record what you play and play it back
- Let eight classical pieces play, such as Für Elise and In the Hall of the Mountain King, and see what they grow
- Add your own MIDI files from the Files app
- Carry on where you left off: your island is kept until you start a new one
For young and old
For anyone who likes to play and build, and for anyone who wants a quiet moment at the end of the day. You don't need to read music.
Calm and honest
- No ads, no account, no tracking
- We collect nothing. Your island, your recordings and the photos in the app stay on this iPad.
- Settings sit behind a parent gate
What you need
- An iPad
- At its best: a MIDI keyboard or digital piano with USB, connected with a USB cable (with an adapter if your iPad needs one)
- No keyboard? The keys on the screen play too.
